MemberFacehuggerNov-29-2017 10:52 AMPlease, what movies have you guys been watching lately? Just for me to have a better idea of what you're willing to see in terms of the Alien franchise.
Subliminal stimuli? Not quite, but, then again...

MemberPraetorianDec-04-2017 3:35 PMPenny Dreadful (2014-2016) Three seasons (18+)
Stars: Eva Green, Timothy Dalton, Josh Hartnett
'Explorer Sir Malcolm Murray, American gunslinger Ethan Chandler, scientist Victor Frankenstein, and medium Vanessa Ives unite to combat supernatural threats in Victorian London.'
Vampires, witches, Dorian Gray, etc... - created and written by John Logan, so do not be surprised if some lines from the Alien Covenant script appear in the episodes of the show.
'This show is definitely not your average telling of famous stories (vampires, Dorian Gray) as it takes the most gruesome aspects of those tales and incorporates them in whatever manner suits the storyline; Penny Dreadful does not shy away from the taboo, something that has been plaguing certain stories such as Frankenstein and Dorian Gray. This show loves the grotesque and downright sinister nature of storytelling and can depend on its actors to do the job right.'

MemberTrilobiteDec-04-2017 3:42 PMThe Orville (2017-...) is a much better science-fiction series.
Fantastic show!

The Absent One (2014)
'The murder of young twins initially implicates a group of upper class students as the killers, though the case takes a turn or two from its starting point.'

Eine Theorie die nicht auf Etwas solidem basiert ist für gewöhnlich nur Geschwätz.

MemberTrilobiteDec-05-2017 11:50 PMPretty keen on The Giver. 2014 movie based on the 1993 Lois Lowry book.
In an orderly black and white world, an individual starts to see color. Uh Oh!!!

MemberTrilobiteDec-10-2017 3:56 PMAnimal Farm never really gets old. The short book is best imo, but the Hallmark movie is pretty darn cool. It is possibly the darkest fable ever written. One of Orwell's best.
