Please, what movies have you guys been watching lately? Just for me to have a better idea of what you're willing to see in terms of the Alien franchise.
Subliminal stimuli? Not quite, but, then again...
IRaptus I had fun. This reviewer pretty much summed up my thoughts:

food ain't that bad! - Parker
Timmy the ultramorph Impressive. What is the the time span? I never saw SAW. Did you see the 2001 sequel? I have the DVD but never watched it.
There is a new Saw film now too i think? Jigsaw?? I liked the first few films but lost interest after about 3 or 4.
Is this an "Origins" film?
@dk,
I just watched Fincher's "Seven" and Nolan's "Interestellar" for the thousand time :)
But, as I said, I work with subtitles so I watch loads of movies and some of them I really enjoy working with, like Tim Burton's "Batman" (1989), "The Box" (2009), and some of the most recent releases like "IT", "Columbus", "Shot Caller", "The Glass Castle", and I had loads of fun with "The Hitman's Bodyguard."
But I am anxious to find time to see the new "Twin Peaks", for I worked with the first episode and haven't had the opportunity to see the rest yet. And, of course, revisit the 1990 original series.
@Timmy the Ultramorph - WOW! Great choices :)
@IRaptus, yep, the documentary really foccus on the animals' versus famers' problem.
@Dark Nebula, I didn't watch any of them, but I heard "Hunger" is quite impressive, although, as you said, it's dark and oppressive.
Cube Zero is pretty solid imo. Do yourselves a favor and check out Cube and Cube Zero. Just sayin'.
Great and exciting topic ScorpioStar! The Box is a special movie, no doubt.
Before watching Twin Peaks season 3, you should rewatch the Twin Peaks movie 'Fire Walk with Me'. Season 3 changes everything and takes us to the next level. Lynch mentioned that season 4 might become reality...
Dark Nebula - Enemy (2009) is an interesting movie. I like its corridor scene.
Let me recommend the three seasons of The Fall (2013-2016).
It is one of the best shows I've ever seen. Exciting story, brilliant acting (Gillian Anderson, Jamie Dornan). The story arc met its conclusion in the third season in 2016, but it is very probable that we will see Gillian Anderson again in new seasons.

ScorpioStar - My pleasure.
Shows:
How to Get Away with Murder (2014-...)
'A group of ambitious law students and their brilliant criminal defense professor become involved in a twisted murder plot that promises to change the course of their lives.'
The second season is awesome! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-2Zb7mVRNs
-------------
I follow Star Trek Discovery, but I think The Orville (2017-...) is a much better science-fiction series.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5691552/
-------------
Absentia (2017-...) starring Stana Katic
'After being declared dead in absentia, an FBI agent must reclaim her family, identity and innocence when she finds herself the prime suspect in a string of murders.'
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6794990/
---------
Sci-fi movie:
Bye Bye Jupiter (1984)
'While extracting water from the Martian polar ice caps, ancient carvings are uncovered describing an alien spacecraft crashing into Jupiter, postponing plans to turn Jupiter into a second Sun.'

Penny Dreadful (2014-2016) Three seasons (18+)
Stars: Eva Green, Timothy Dalton, Josh Hartnett
'Explorer Sir Malcolm Murray, American gunslinger Ethan Chandler, scientist Victor Frankenstein, and medium Vanessa Ives unite to combat supernatural threats in Victorian London.'
Vampires, witches, Dorian Gray, etc... - created and written by John Logan, so do not be surprised if some lines from the Alien Covenant script appear in the episodes of the show.
'This show is definitely not your average telling of famous stories (vampires, Dorian Gray) as it takes the most gruesome aspects of those tales and incorporates them in whatever manner suits the storyline; Penny Dreadful does not shy away from the taboo, something that has been plaguing certain stories such as Frankenstein and Dorian Gray. This show loves the grotesque and downright sinister nature of storytelling and can depend on its actors to do the job right.'
dk - There are so many fantastic and exciting shows and movies it is impossible to enjoy all of them - we have no time for them. :/
If you like Scandinavian thrillers, this is one of my favs:
The Absent One (2014)
'The murder of young twins initially implicates a group of upper class students as the killers, though the case takes a turn or two from its starting point.'

May be a bit odd for someone who likes Alien movies but the last really interesting movie i watched was Ernest & Celestine. I really liked that one.
Maybe I'm get'n soft on my old days. XD
Eine Theorie die nicht auf Etwas solidem basiert ist für gewöhnlich nur Geschwätz.
Pretty keen on The Giver. 2014 movie based on the 1993 Lois Lowry book.
In an orderly black and white world, an individual starts to see color. Uh Oh!!!
