this is just a video that I found. it seems like a much better version of the avp movies. once disney buys fox A crossover could be possible so i thought is relevant.
do you like this idea or not?

MemberTrilobiteJan-07-2018 8:08 PMThis looks pretty good but I still like the initial AVP. You can keep AVPR.

MemberDeaconJan-08-2018 4:21 AMThe AVP Cross over had Potential, some Comics were interesting, the AVP Games too, especially the AVP2 Game
The Problem with the Movies was the Plot... it should have been set in the Alien Time-line thus between 2150-2250 Time-Line

MemberFacehuggerJan-08-2018 8:41 AMI agree with only little Predator and Engineer involvement. Like side characters not the main event.

MemberChestbursterJan-08-2018 9:03 AMAvP2 (game), Rage Wars books and Fire and Stone comic-epos - best AvP. Need something like that.
I don't think that we should treat with condescension to AvP movies. No. There is no debate or opinions. This movies must be retconed or go into oblivion.

MemberDeaconJan-08-2018 9:08 AMI think down the line Disney will Ret-con AVP, because well if done right it can make $$$$ from Merchandise and Marketing, the Movies we had simply followed a flawed Plot that contradicted the Alien Time-line. As well as being a bit... poor

AdminEngineerJan-08-2018 10:10 AMI agree, if it draws from the established comic books or the AvP 2 game we'd be in for a decent cross-over. But I also agree the existing AvP movies need to be disassociated from the franchise haha

MemberNeomorphJan-11-2018 7:22 AMthere is no reason that the xeno and yautja cant exist in the same universeand be known to WY. the idea of AVP is great. there is so much that could be done and with the right script, it could be a success. the issue is how poor AVP and AVPR were. the were rushed jobs imo. AVP was better but not by much. if it had been in outer space on a distant world maybe it would have been better received but having to take place on earth was poor and lazy judgement. id be all for a re-boot

MemberNeomorphJan-11-2018 8:53 AMSome people like those movies and some don’t I have just watched the first one and well it was not very impressive. It is a more interesting idea than what the final result became. There are some things that should stay on paper and not become movies, the AVP’s being prime examples.
I have not watched the second one but I have watched some clips on youtube and I have watched a review of it, and it seems to be total shit. Please save us from a third one (LOL!)
AVPR is like the cecum of the alien franchise, it is there but it doesn’t perform any function what so ever and a lot of times it is removed.
Alien Versus Predator Rectum (LOL!)

MemberNeomorphJan-11-2018 8:59 AMyes AVPR is without a doubt one of the worst movies iv ever seen. even worse than those scyfy channel flicks considering the vast difference in budget. if they had never made an AVP movie I wouldn't have minded and that's nothing to do with how poor they were. I agree with u thoughts that some thinks should remain comics or animated as the writers can get away with a lot more but as soon as its put on screen, some of the same things that they get away with in the comics they don't get away with when its in a film. the truth is fans wanted something that brought the 2 together but what we got was so bad it has soured our appetite to see it again.
