I think with RS and his War of the Worlds comment, when we are looking at the scope of Prometheus Plot, we see the Xenomorph is but a small part, a Bio-Weapon..   what Prometheus shows us is Creation and the Engineers may have seeded other worlds.

What RS has opened up with Prometheus is the potential for multiple Races, which indeed opens up the Alien Franchise to be more like a Star Trek/Star Wars Franchise with multiple Alien Races.

I love many of those designs you shared, they show a varied design from various races.

Fantastic pics. The idea of planetoids or even large asteroids as individual tactical/comms sites opens up some interesting possibilities.

dk - I love the 'space base on a space rock' idea! I want it in the next Alien movie! I don't want more forests...

Good analysis BigDave on the context of the "War of the Worlds" comment from Scott. I believe he would depict the xenomorph as a weapon deployed in that scenario.

I am sort of worried about the war of the worlds kind of things. If they shall reduce the role of the Xeno to being a bio-weapon then they need to make the Engineers more scary which I think is difficult to do if they will only do one or two movies. My point is that it is interesting but they should have gotten AC right if they want that to happen. Getting 50% of the prequels right while the other 50% suffer in quality is not that good.
