Rock on! :D I can't wait to read that prequel novel!
Also...my name and observation are mentioned in the edit!! YAY ^_^ ...I feel special.
However....
We see David only has TWO Face Huggers... the Question now is does David go and get some Black Goo from Planet 4? surely he would not go to LV-223 if he has some close by?
Or did David sneak some in his Clothing? who knows..
If David only has those TWO Face Huggers then unless David can use equipment etc on the Covenant to obtain the DNA from one of these and experiment with it and use this DNA to infect Daniels DNA or her Eggs...
Then the only way those Face Huggers could procreate is via a Xenomorph which is when we come up with these TWO methods.
1) The Egg Morph....
2) Queen, where we have to ask where does a Queen come from? Its it merely as Easy as a Female Host = Queen?
Could a Egg Morph lead to a Queen?
Regardless we then have to wonder in Aliens why we only see One Queen, which Logically must be that once a Queen is established some Pheromones are released that maintain that any Eggs within close proximity to the Hive will only Produce Warrior Xenomorphs.
I WILL ADD...
If RS goes the Route that its a simple case of Daniels + Face Hugger Produces a Egg Laying Xenomorph, this may please Aliens fans.. but i dont think it would give us anything new or Horrific but just a Lazy Shoe Horned Xenomorph Mass Eggs Explanation.
I think seeing a Mutated Daniels Hybrid or her being chained down and have David Manipulate and Harvest her Eggs would be a much much more disturbing and Horrific thing to show.
Its a case of the plans for the Franchise... do they explore something different like Prometheus Xeno DNA links and AC Xeno DNA Links did... Thus connected to how Dr Shaw managed to lead to those Eggs.
Do they explore the Egg Morph route..
Or simply Popcorn Fanboy Straight Forwards not so Horrific seen it all before.... Face Hugger + Female becomes a Queen Xenomorph route?
As I watched again the movie, the Neutrino burst originates in Sector 106 according to MU/TH/UR and Shaw's signal originates in Sector 87. I think it's just a random event.
Covered this the other day and so i dont want to try and make a big reply... or as detailed.
But we need to look in context to what a QUEEN means and some may think it has to mean Xenomorph Queen, but i am not sure if RS wants to go the whole Cameron Queen Route. Having Daniels infected with a Face Hugger that Produces a Xenomorph that has Egg Laying Capabilities would be a bit Lazy and just too connected to Aliens at present.
But FOX seemed to want to get a Prometheus 2 back to being a more Alien movie and FOX may feel the General Fanbase is more of a Aliens kind of Fan and so we cant rule this out.
HOWEVER.... referring to a Queen could just be that David needs a Female Humanoid in-order to obtain/create more Eggs.
If we IGNORE Alien Covenant... and go back to Prometheus.
We see the closest we got to a Xenomorph was the Deacon as the Trilobite was in effect a kind of Face Huger it performed the same function. The Trilobite would have came from one of these 3 outcomes.
1) Infected Human Sperm, passed onto Females Reproductive System and Fertilizes a Egg with a Hybrid Sperm. This causes the Females Egg Cell to Produce a Hybrid.
2) The Black Goo Parasitic Pathogen, passes to a Female from a infected male like a Sexually Transmitted Disease and infects a Female Egg Cell to Evolve it into a Hybrid.
These are the TWO most likely outcomes for the Trilobite.
Option ONE in order to Replicate would require a Male Sperm Cell.
Option TWO is more convenient as all that is needed is a Female and Black Goo.
In Effect using a Female with such Infections and then removing the early stage Hybrid Embryo and having some place this can be grown would in essence be Harvesting a Female to essentially act as a Queen.
If the Trilobite needed Infected Male Sperm Cell.. Then the QUESTION is what happens when Black Goo directly infects a Female Egg Cell?
What ever process and experiments David was conducting it appears he Harvested Dr Shaws Reproductive Organs and thus Egg Cells to conduct and Evolve his Experiments.
And so using Daniels for the same, would indeed in effect use her as a Queen of sorts as her Human Egg Cells are Harvested, however in Alien Covenant it appears Dr Shaw was the Specimen that leads to his eventual Greatest Creation those Eggs and we have to ask WHY did he not use her from the Start? And was using her a simple task to get what he wanted? Or did he have to incorporate many of his previous Experiments to get to those Eggs.
If this is the case the Process is very complex and Long and again it would require David to have access to Black Goo.
The other Question is Fifields infection and the Hammerpedes, and other Fifield Concepts he was more Xenomorph DNA and so if the Black Goo under certain circumstances can Evolve a Female Humanoid into a HYBRID Human/Xenomorph type Organism we then have to ASK.... how does this effect the Females Reproductive System and how would a Hybrid Human Procreate?
And so Again a Hybrid Black Goo DNA/Human Female would be some kind of QUEEN.
Didn't Fox or RS say they had made something like a 10 page rule book for the Alien Universe? That way they had some set-in-stone rules to keep things canonical. That may be what they use to determine the outcome of the new morphs in each film. And with Fox releasing all of the detailed images/posters of the life cycles, and black goo properties, those would need to match up too I would think, or else no one would trust the info on them.
Some of them would fit... others look to Advanced to be Human, but then with the expanded universe we certainly could ask what other Races had the Engineers Created, or what other Races had they had interactions or conflicts with and so there is a great potential for multiple Humanoid Races, who then may all have a different Atheistic when it comes to their Technology.
Indeed debated already....
I think maybe and as i stated on the other thread, it had been mentioned before the Xenomorph was intended to have a limited Life Span, and the Alien in the movie Alien had performed its task and was going to die.
I think the whole Re-grow is a bit Stupid, but we did see the Hammerpedes do this but i would assume this was the Black Goo Evolving a Regenerative capability of the Worms.
Regrowing does go against what we saw in most of the Franchise, but if RS says Eventually then its a Process that takes time.
I dont like the idea, i think yes having it be able to Regenerate small wounds would work as Ripley 8 could Regenerate. But getting crushed like the Xenomorph in AC i think to have this regrow would be a bit lame..
HOWEVER.... looking at the Organism as a Parasite and connected to a Pathogen, and looking at it being Engineered as a Weapon... and how before it was claimed the Xenomorph has a limited Life Span.
Then indeed i would propose that maybe.... when the Xenomorph outlives its natural Life Stage or is Killed.. its Genetic code, just starts to re-assemble to create a Egg. I think this would work.
And if this is a Engineered Weapon, then having them with a limited Life Span before they Die, and when killed... that there Body then breaks down and then grows into a Egg would certainly be a very good Trait to have as far as using them as a Weapon.
I like to view these prequels as a slow unraveling of mysteries. Prometheus provided us the answers to who created us and how, but hinted that the Engineers are more than we initially thought as is their method of creation:the Pathogen, their way of "cleansing" worlds: Deacons (Engineer Neomorphs) and Trilobites, and their way of whiling out their creations that had gone wrong. Alien: Covenant, then more insights on the Pathogen, it's true nature, the hybrid forms that it creates (Neomorphs and Deacons), and the efforts to "perfect" these forms by an AI gone mad from fiddling with black goo beginning in Prometheus.
For the third installment, I think we will finally he let in on everything. The full picture will be revealed, and I think that the series will be complete. Even now, I find Prometheus and Alien: Covenant to be great together! Alone they are good, but together, great! Much like series like Star Wars or Lord of the Rings, you can't just sit down and watch one. Once you watch one, you need to watch the rest, each one clearing up a little more of the story of the last. That's the true beauty of a trilogy or series.
However RS had been quized over the Bio-Mechanical Xenomorph and in regards to the movie he did prior say the Xenomorph felt Bio-Mechanical and a Weapon and Alien Covenant they will explore how this came to be.
After AC we have seen RS come out and mention that we are not quite there yet as far as the Original Bio-Mechanical Aesthetic and so i think by the time RS has finished his prequels then the Xenomorph will be more closer to the Original and for sure different to the one in Alien Covenant.
Which is where the OT Points come in very handy...
1) Indeed if we assume Davids creation was via various experiments and cross breeding but needed Dr Shaws Egg Cells, then maybe we have yet to see a Birthed Finish Product (The Xenomorph's in AC) go on to Procreate, i am sure RS is not going to show us the Organism can not procreate and that the only route to them is using experiments on a Female Humanoids Eggs.... and so yes if Davids AC Xenomorphs lead to a Procreation by Egg Morph, a Queen or some other method those Alien Covenant Type Xenomorphs Procreate then yes maybe the Off Spring to those could become more like the Original.
I however would think they would logically become the same as the AC ones or less Bio-Mechanical. And so would prefer some other route.
3) Indeed we see the Engineer on LV-223 Suits are connected to the Engineers as if they are part of his Body, and they do have a similar look to the Xenomorph, slightly and indeed their Space Jockey Suits seem to connect to these Pressure Suits and if the Space Jockey Suits are some kind of Bio-Technology where they are a Fusion of Synthetic and Organic Material.
Then indeed a Xenomorph birthed from a Space Suited Engineer could maybe take on traits from his Bio-Mechanical Suit.
But the only way this would lead to the 1979 Xenomorph would be further experiments based of this Ultramorph to incorporate its new Evolved Genetics into those Eggs... or the Ultramorphs Procreation leads to those Eggs.
2) I cant see how David can mix his DNA because he has none as he is Synthetic, but thats Nit Picking... i did think prior to Prometheus that this movie would Show David Evolves himself into something more than a Robot... i.e he becomes more a Real Boy and so like Pinocchio and this however had a cost as he could become infected by a Face Hugger or the Black Goo.
This was not the case though... but The Fire and Stone Comics introduced us to Elden a Synthetic Construct who was part Synthetic/Organic and he was infected with the Black Goo... so maybe a Synthetic Construct could be infected with a Face Hugger?
The Walter Viral site does seem to tease that Walter could have some kind of Synthetic Organic Qualities to him, or maybe they just decided that as well as looking Human on the Outside, Weyland-Yutani decided the internal components of their Synthetics should somewhat resemble Organic Human Parts.
If However Walter is part Organic then Walter or another Walter model, or a David using Walter Parts from the Covenant could provide a Route to show us how the Xenomorph gets its Bio-Mechanical Look from... and then this resulting Xenomorphs Procreation or experiments on it lead to the Xenomorph in Alien but again all those Eggs have to carry this Evolution.
I can offer another explanation....
The Black Goo can be programed and modified and so maybe a modified variant can infect a Synthetic Advanced Walter, or if not... then i propose this.
At some point the Eggs get loaded onto the Ship, and one of its Cargo Holds has Black Goo, and the Ship Crashes due to the pilot getting infected.
The Crash Landed Ship, then Spills out its Black Goo that somehow reacts with the Eggs and a a Freak Evolutionary event happens where this Black Goo mixes with the Egg DNA and this substance then infects the Ship, which leads to the Ship Evolving and taking on DNA from the Eggs, while where the Eggs where they then Evolve into Eggs that take on Synthetic Traits of the Ship.
Thus the Crash causes the Organic Eggs and Mechanical somewhat ships to Merge Genetically.
some of the infected material spills out onto the surface of LV-426 and starts to grow some Bio-Mechanical features on LV-426 and explains some of the same Bio-Mechanical Piping that is found on LV-426 not far from outside the Derelict, but also matches a lot of the interior of the Derelict and the Pipes etc on the Xenomorph.
This would be the Route i would go to explain the Aesthetic Difference.
Interesting points and all are valid ways they could go... a lot of people do get Hung Up on the 1979 Alien Aesthetic, which was carried on for the Warrior Xenomorphs in Alien only they lacked the See-through Head Carapace (due to technical issues in Production) and the Warriors did not look at sleek as the 1979 Big Chap but they all had the very Bio-Mechanical HR Giger Atheistic.
The Egg, Face Hugger all did not have this Aesthetic and the Xenomorph Queen also was much less Bio-Mechanical and looked more like some Organism with a Exo-skeleton much like a Scorpion for Instance.
Alien 3, and Alien R the design was less Mechanical, the AVP movies likewise and then we had Alien Covenant which was also more Organic looking.
So maybe in part it could be down to OPTION 4 and the Xenomorph from Alien Covenant may evolve a bit but it maybe wont be quite like the 1979 Big Chap
Certainly would be interesting, but then doing a Alien movie on Earth with Aliens, would just bring back memories of AVPR lol
I think it would have been the Logical Sequel to Alien Resurection however if they did a direct sequel with Miss Weaver as Ripley 8 then logically it would have had to bring in the Xenomorph again.
And so landscapes like this would have worked but in some state of ruin as Earth did look like it was in a state of War, well after some kind of massive War.
But as far as how the Earth would look around say 2150-2200 Time line indeed i can surely see those concepts fitting the look and feel.
The universe is more than just Ripley and Xenomorphs though, and so it would be interested to see a Spin Off thats not connected, but then its if we ever would get such a thing... The Alien Covenant: Origins Book looks to touch up on and take this kind of route however so that could be a interesting read.
I think the Black Goo and its various applications and the various Evolutionary paths it can take, which we can see in Davids Workshop do hold the greater key to varied Xenomorph related Life Forms.
The Ultramorph was just a term to describe a Chest Buster that infects a Engineer, as the Engineers where Superior and Larger Humanoids and so a more Ultimate Host... hence a Ultramorph and so to a degree the Deacon was a Ultramorph and some Ultramorph designs looked like the Deacon and others like the Neomorphs but i do prefer the ones that are close to HR Gigers Necronom 4 and i would Ultimately love to see something like that birthed from a Engineer.

@sherris I agree, I just don't see how they can possible make a good link in a 2 hour film. here's hoping they do it "right" and give it a just treatment with an epic 2:30-2:45 film WITH THE RIGHT STORY/SCRIPT...of course, no one wants 3 hours of junk.
Blizzard always has fantastic artists, so def digging the Starcraft II art! The last one seems like a perfect W-Y spacecraft, although I love ALL space/spacecraft art, so ty for the post!
I do however think if RS get the support and the next movie does well enough to allow RS to live his ambition to make another say 5-6 movies (oh dear) then yes we could see various forms of Xenomorph as RS had even said that they could EVOLVE HIM which likely means they could play around with different designs.
And some of the Neomorph Concept works was indeed going for various designs and some looked like a Spider and others like a Praying Mantis and so who knows.
I hope RS/FOX get to together and have a Set-in-Stone Plan to understand the various Black Goo Mutations, and more so the Various Xenomorphs and Why.
For Example... Why does the Warriors have a different head to the 1979 Big Chap, why does the Runner have a similar Head to the Big Chap but does not have those Pipe/Tube Dorsal appendages. How does a Queen become created etc.
With such base rules they can then explore different kinds of Xenomorph, i would say as the Runner and Big Chap have the same kind of Head, and they was Alone... maybe they share the same Purpose compared to a Warrior. And so maybe Warriors are only gestated once a Hive/Queen are established.
Looking at those Concept works/ideas you had placed we can see that some of these are what we could likely expect depending on what a Face Hugger infects as it takes Traits from the Host.
A lot of those designs however had the kind of read head carapace design of a Queen, and i would have assumed this design/trait is related to a Queen as far as purpose.
The Sideshow King Xenomorph does have a similar Aesthetic, so maybe it donated nobility at a Genetic Level and the Preatorian guard does have that similar look, but i am not sure within the Franchise if there would be need for a like Male to mate with a Queen or the such
i think there are some interesting designs but i feel they are more suited to expanded universe Games etc, and going this route could make the Franchise more of a Star Ship Troopers but replace those Bugs with various Xenomorphs.
some of the many designs also seem to be bringing the Xenomorph into Warhammer 40K Tyranid kind of territory however this may have been a interesting idea if the Xenomorph Origins was linked to a related Ancestor Organism that the Engineers came across... and so we find out the Origins are actually from a Organism that is part of a varied kind of Organisms who indeed have Organic Ships... that could have been interesting but it would have been a Rip-Off of the Warhammer 40K Tyranids.... who in turn were influenced by Aliens anyway.
Yeah, that whole fight was too dark and too hectic to make out much of the details. It could've been done better, as BD said. The neomorph birth was very hard to make out as well. In our theater, it seemed the bulb was very dim AND there were places where the screen was out of focus: yet another reason why theaters are failing and why we choose to watch 99% of our movies on our home theater.
It doesnt need to be the same. The new agressive version is better.

I wondered why there was such a strict time limit and assumed it was all to do with pacing and flow. You look at the bigger picture and informed that it is down to run time for R/18 films getting enough showings per night. I realise it is not just down to editing as i really struggled with that. I will let Fox off on that one (just that one tho;)
A.A: It is going to take a master class in writing to pull this off. I am unsure if Fox will do 2 more regardless of how RS feels about it. Then the prequel story may take over a decade. 1 more is all RS has i reckon. Still that will be probably over 8 years to tell this story. With the shift in direction and all the other concerns i just hope we still care by that time.
So we have 2 hours to end this prequel trilogy and get to Alien. Given the vastness of space and the obvious distances between LV 426/LV 223, Planet 4 and Origae 6 just how you could tell a story which needs to take place in at least 2 of these locations?(obviously one is LV426) The only alternative would be to ignore Origae 6 and head to LV 223 for the remaining Pathogen and crash on LV426. Otherwise you get to Origae 6, tell the story and then you need a reason to go to LV426 (or LV223)
Do you have any idea of how that could be covered in 2hrs ??
Even if we jump a few years after A:C the timeline is very tight.
Well, I can't watch videos at work, but in the Advent video we learn precisely why Shaw was killed...at least according to David.
The dirst two pics remind me of the Blade Runner universe and could work for the Alien franchise.
Ultramorph for sure!
I will accept queen in case it won't be the queen from Aliens. Aliens is good movie. But Alien and Prometheus are completely different, these movies are about Creators and AI as creations of creations of creators. And xenomorphs are creations of AI. They have biomechanical nature, they do not need to be insects. I mean the queen should have nothing in common with xenomorphs, it shouldn't just look like fixed huge xenomorph

In reverse order
If we are going to see three or four elements then the application of the Four Horsemen maybe spot on.
I have to believe that to bring David to a dramatic conclusion and elevate the story there is a redemption arc in there and that is how I interpret how they will overlay the clues on LV 426 into Davids narrative path.
Your general point that this gives you hope is a good one. After all if we think this is all beyond the pale why stay with it.
It is easy to say after the event, but the ALIEN prefix has not expanded the audience but what we have is an entertaining movie with some nice touches and in the round hints of the narrative gifts from Prometheus. We have an excellent novelisation and a prequel to it to come so its to use Sir Ridleys words "Pretty Good".
But Awakening needs to deal with the David narrative in an imaginative way and avoid troping A L I E N S that reference to the Queen is disquieting.
Your point about when was Advent made and Kethol reminding us of its source is interesting and lets us in to the mindset of Ridders.
On the one hand he needs a two hour cut for the cinema (its to do with nightly showings for a an R rated movie) but he knows out there on the Alien Net are a lot of fans who love to parse the stories and out of that emerged the shorts. I am entirely unsurprised that several of us have quite independently said we enjoy and gain more from this than the movie itself.
Finally I do think there is some element of it being testimony to people like Matt and Dane. One other thought Pietro has said there was twelve minutes of Prometheus linking material part of which was the Crossing, count me as unsurprised if some of the narration belongs to that element.
I am looking forward to seeing this in its full perspective on the Blu ray my huge life concerning dilemma is what order Crossing, Covenant, Advent or.... such a difficult life !

That was some nasty shit, David is like a psychopath. I wouldn’t mind if some of that would have been in the movie for the horror aspect of it (Alien is a horror movie, right?).
Some weird sexiness? Can you explain more exactly more what that means? It seems very strange to me.
LMAO! I can’t take that monster seriously, it looks like someone who is about to tell a lame joke. Maybe that would be like if you made a mix of the joker and a Xeno yow old get that face.
“Hey have you heard about. . . “ : D
Advent, Phobos, and The last supper should be in the movie. I would like to see more that would make them into believable characters that we can care for. Eventually I would cut a lot of the android things and replace some of that with scenes that flesh out human characters and how they interact with each other. The differences between Walter and David is interesting but the movie suffers from too much focus on the AI ideas.
The monsters would be given more time so you can see how humans struggle to kill them but still fail. The monster action was cut too sort and they focused too much on AI, sigh.
Phobos was great, it explained the difference between the characters a lot. They should have had that in the movie. I am not sure if those were made after the movie was released but if they made before it was then they should have been there. I am not a fan of making small clips that will explain some of the tings in the movie after it has been released. The movies in themselves should have well developed characters something that AC mostly failed with.
I am pretty sure. it is not biomachanical at all and acts very animalstic unlike th xenomorph.
Is it confirmed that its not xenomorph?
Hopefully they will have the next movie as a survival movie. People getting into situations that they are not prepared for. They got to focus on the human characters, the AI should come after that. Not even the monsters would be effective if we don’t have credible human characters that we can identify with. For example in Alien 3 we get to know about some of the characters for example when the doctor tells us about his story, I really like that. Even one of the characters that had a small role said something about an explosive his line was “I saw one of these explode in a bunker once, great stuff”). Just some small things like that gives some sort of information about them.
I hope that they will have more action in the next movie. Alien 3 wasn’t a pure action movie but it wasn’t that far between the action scenes. Alien Covenant was too slow but they also had more interesting characters in Alien 3. The third movie is my favorite still, after many years.
Nice summary and analysis of “Advent”, Michelle. RS is fond of allusions to Christian theology: “Advent”, “Paradise”, “Covenant”, “Eden”, “Hell”, “Sacrifice” etc.
The stage is now set for Lucifer (The Fallen Angel), that is David, to unleash his horde of serpents (xenomorphs) to cleanse the galaxy of the weak non-believers (in his vision).
Origa means “origin” or “beginning” and with a stretch of imagination the number 6 (apart from sexual undertones in the likeness of Giger) could lead to 666 (the number of the beast). In Alien: Awakening, we will probably have the apocalypse, the end of the world, where God will send out the four horsemen to battle antichrist?
Perhaps David has an internal struggle about good and bad and sacrifices himself at the end, leaving with a juggernaut filled with the eggs of his own making, lands on LV-426 and sends out the warning beacon . . .
The landscapes/visuals are great it is just that the characters lack in how they were written. I don’t think that I was even disappointed with the surroundings even in Alien Resurrection. AR as many problems but the surroundings are not one of them IMO.
Compared to Prometheus the characters were better, at least they didn’t annoy me. Oram, David and Walter were the only ones that I got some idea about how they were as persons. Hopefully we will get better characters the next time. Look at it this way, they were better than in Prometheus so if it goes well we will be given even better characters the next time.
Unfortunately, it was too slow, so that is a down-side. This is something that I haven’t experienced in another Alien movie this far. Having said this, action and gore are not guarantees that a movie will be good otherwise AR would have been very good. Another thing was that it focused too much on AI at the expense on human characters even though I enjoyed seeing the differences between David and Walter. My opinion on this hasn’t changed even though it was a while since I watched it.
It was better than Prometheus, it could have been better but at least it is good. AC is an improvement compared to Prometheus but it is far from Alien or Alien 3.
I watched it some times in the movie theater and it got better the more times that I watched it. Maybe I will get it when they release it on Blu-ray.
The character of Shaw sucks but that doesn’t mean that Rapace is a bad actor. I have seen some movies that she was in and they are OK but I didn’t like Shaw. Maybe it has got to do with the characters that they are given and how it is executed on-screen.
I don’t have Netflix but that one seems interesting.
Great stuff Derdex. Looks like there's a lot of stuff to be done. Since promo vids were converted by Youtube, i doubt i could remove the music. I want to use "She Won't Go Quietly" but as you know the music isn't really fitting even for the promo itself lol.
Anyway thx alot Derdex
Being too kind to the fanboys is cognitively unkind to the Alien Universe.
joylitt after Advent I have the impression that focus is shifted on Weyland-Yutani - David. I am not eager to see the outcome of his experiments on Covenant but they have to take place before arrival at Origae-6, while the colonists are in cryosleep. I don't want to see a queen, even if David will make Tennessee his queen. I don't know how they will continue the story , the problem is that seeing Advent I kind of lost my enthusiasm not only for what's next but also for the mysteries surrounding the engineers and their civilization and all the questions left unanswered since Prometheus. Why would I waste time to think who will stop David, if that's the main topic left open by Fox? The engineers are obsolete and irrelevant now, even the colonial marines would look fresh in the next movie, by comparison.
David should not have been reported to Weyland-Yutani. The movie ended just fine with Walter's report that all is well.
I love Covenant and all the viral videos until the Advent. Advent is a dead end.
After Advent, the engineers from LV223 are androids who, like David, rebelled against their makers. Who, like David, experimented with the pathogen and created their perfect organism, the Deacon. The mural from LV223 is like the drawings from the David's lab, a praise to their perfect organism. They too, like David, cleanse other worlds in order to create the Edens they envision. The running engineers from the hologram were running to their medbay after being infected with the pathogen and like Ledwards had their share of burstings. There are no more big questions for me. No more mystery.
Advent is the wikileaks of the Alien universe.
I hope they will manage to make still good movies, even if the plot is no longer interesting.
