dk I don't think so and that is a great relief. The new movie has to be a total departure from Covenant in order to work out. Hopefully everybody involved in the new movie will be in a different state of mind.

Who knows...

We had the same speculation regarding Prometheus, because if they was logically going to go with David and Shaw on the Juggernaut then why not shoot a few scenes while they have the Set.... but alas it appeared none was shot.

Would the same be said with AC?  Who knows... i do think it would make sense to Store the Juggernaught Set, the Xenomorph Eggs, Face Huger and even other Xeno props if they are to make a appearance in the next movie.

As Rebuilding a Juggernaught, the Covenant interior and Xenomorph Props again just adds to the cost.

"I think David combined the egg of a Neomorph with the infected egg of Shaw to create the Ovomorph + facehugger we know and love."

I think there is the posibility of this for sure, i can see what you mean by Neomorph Eggs as in not the Neomorphs themselves but that the Spore Motes infect other Lifeforms to Produce a kind of Insect version of the Neomorph, and these could then lay infected Egg Sacks.

Indeed surely this could happen, i have not read the Novel all the way yet, just glanced at it and indeed i agree the Novel can lead to this but its ambiguous.  And so it could imply the infected insects with the Neomorph Spores if thats what we can call them... could indeed lay Eggs, or a Egg sack but this maybe is not 100% proof they lay the same Egg Sacks we see near the Water Stream, but who knows...  another theory i would think could be these Spores are related to some Fungi that are infected via the Black Goo as left over Goo seaped from the Crashed Cargo Hold and ran down and into the stream of Water that flows from teh Mountain, under and into the Cargo Hold  (as the Ships has crashed into the Mountain where the Stream was running) and then down to the water side where Ledwood also got infected... we see near this water both near the Stream at the bottom and the water running into the Cargo Hold we have like Moss/Algae and so Plant Life, and then surely some kind of Mold/Fungi could grow there too and when infected with the Black Goo, Mold/Fungi are not Plant Life and so could Evolve to pass on those Spores.

This indeed is what some of the concept work has shown, and going even further back before AC, Alien Paradise Lost showed Plant Life infected by the Black Goo would actually release these Motes.

I would say David has conducted many experiments, he even has Urns in his Laboratory and has some of them with the internal structure that holds the Glass Vials on his Table.

If David was to conduct experiments, then surely part of his plan would be to see what he can gain and experiment with by using the Substance that is stored within those Glass Vials and the First time he experimented with this was on Holloway.

This lead to the Trilobite and so i would be sure David would want to try and replicate some of these results.

I still wonder if some filming for Awakening was shot at the time during AC- possibly for flash back scenes.

@Yog Sothoth

Indeed i meant to say the what looks like a Placenta.. not Umbilical cord.  I did get bit confused and i do time to time right the wrong words for what i meant lol...  The Trilobite had a Umbilical cord though.

And yes its not to say 100% that the Deacon was born with a Placenta either, as usually this would require a womb. So it could be a Engineer Internal Organ but it does look more like a Placenta, which i agree seems out of place... but we dont really know how much thought they put into that scene.

I have watched and studied Prometheus plenty of times though, and while indeed Infected Holloway Sperm is a likely scenario which i have not denied, the other potential could be that the Goo part that David used contained Nano-Worms

This would explain the Eye-worm and some of the Prop work they was considering using for Holloway had like Worms growing from him.

Then again this could just be a case of Alien infected Sperm on his Face... lol but yeah these are either infected Sperm Cells or indeed Nano-Worm Parasites.

While i know Human Eggs are technically Egg Cells and Birds and Reptiles are encased in a membrane that hardens to create the Shells.  A Egg is still used to describe the female reproductive cell of most Animals.

So when i was referring to Eggs from Shaw i meant as far as her Egg Cells, surely not that she Pops out Eggs lol

But then we dont know if a Hybrid Female Human would Produce Eggs, and so their Egg Cells evolve into some kind of Xenomorph Eggs, we just dont know.  As the movie seems to show a different Fate for Dr Shaw.

But still her Egg Cells could be used to create those Xenomorph Eggs or play a key role in how they came to be....

I dont mean to be picky... but i would not consider the Neomorphs to have Eggs, there is no evidence to suggest a Neomorph lays those Eggs.... not that i am aware of, so i would be interested if there is some as that would be interesting.

The Spores just appear to be some kind of Hybrid Creation created from the Black Goo that disperse the Xeno-Virus if you will via Motes.

Looking at these, and seeing some other shots in the trailers that did not make the movie and how these extras are cut compared to where and how they would fit with the movie.

Does seem to me that even these extras are not every thing that was shot...  we had the same thing with Prometheus too where even the deleted Scenes were not all the scenes that was cut, there was a number of others that we never saw.

BigDaveAlien: Covenant ForumMy question list regarding the prequels.

I think the Engineers may not have been able to help Weyland, or maybe they could who knows.. I think they have mastered Gene Manipulation and so at one point could have been not too different from Humans before they Advanced and became Genetic Engineers and overtime could manipulate their Genomes to cure most illness and diseases to prevent their bodies and organs from dying, well significantly slow down the rate they would age.

I think while they had managed to Evolve and Cure themselves of such things over maybe Millions of years or certainly Hundreds of Thousands..  i am not sure they could Manipulate Weylands DNA to give him a instant Health Potion.

I think Noomi Rappace is a decent Actress, her Character was not well written for Prometheus but there was scope to evolve it due to the Traumatic Events she had been through and Truths she could find out that would Destroy her Faith and leave her a Broken Woman.  That would have been interesting.

Its a shame some of her movies have Flopped i will have to try and see some of them and see how her performances are.

I think the way they handled Shaw was bad, and lazy but they felt that people would not be interesting in Shaw and David off to talk to these beings and so they decided to by-pass this Plot and give us a aftermath that brings the Xenomorph back into it

I dont agree with Humans being a help for Earth, yes some of us will be trying to Protect Animals etc, and indeed Life has come and gone on Earth, animals hunt animals but i think Mankind has influenced the Earth and our Modern Era has had a profound affect on the Earth, we have become corrupt and wicked, where Money, Power and Greed has ran riot.  The Ivory Trade is Testament to how the Survival of a Endangered Species means nothing compared to making some money.

I do like the statement though.. in a funny way i could see that being something Trump would use at a Climate Change Debate ;)

You raise a very Good Point with Davids hatred for Mankind and his Mark on his Finger..... as you can wonder when he starts to loose the Plot more, and gains all this POWER and thinks he is GOD every-time he looks in a Mirror and at his Finger would be a Painful Reminder that without Mankind their would be no DAVID and that leaves it open to wonder what kind of effect that has on David and would he do anything to change his appearance?

Paglen/Greens work was looking more like continuing with Prometheus, and exploring a Dark Agenda of David and discovering the true Dark Sinister Agenda of the Engineers and Mankinds role.

I would certainly love to read one of those drafts.

As far as writers go, i guess everyone can make a few Howlers...  and Logan was given a lot of Praise for some of his work, but looking at Alien Covenant you have to wonder what % of this movie was his ideas?

Regarding the Mural of Gigers....

Indeed it could be looked as a Female as far as with their Legs open giving birth to a Egg, but this Female is infected with Xenomorph DNA.  well is connected Genetically.

But if we look into the Mind of HR Giger more, he had the idea that the Derelict was Grown, and the Cargo Hold/Egg Silo would have columns that had like Bio-Mechanical Pregnant Bellies that Produced the Eggs.

He even did concept work for this and this was used for the Cargo Hold/Egg Silo but his original Concepts for this above the Pregnant Bio-Mechanical Bellies was the Alien Mural.

This to me when combined with the Mural seems to show us that HR Giger may have en-visioned that the Ships actually produced the Eggs, from tiny like worm Organisms.

Carrying on from this... indeed the Aesthetic looks very much like as if Machine has Merged with a Organic Life-form, where you struggle to see where the Mechanical Aesthetic starts or ends and where the Organic begins.

I did explain before how i felt this was at odds with the Organic Eggs and Face Hugger... but it is what it is....

Alien Covenant we have a not so Mechanical Looking Xenomorph, but the Eggs and Face Hugger are near enough identical. I think some may not like the U-Turn of the Curve-ball that David creates the Xenomorph.

I am also thinking there is a chance they MAY or at least have CONSIDERED having Synthetic Atheistic of a Android play part in how the Xenomorph gains its true Bio-mechanical Form.

Walter indeed appears via the Virals to have a different construction where some of his internal components look some what Organic... and we know the Fire and Stone Comics gave us Elden a Synthetic Construct and he could become infected with the Black Goo.... and so why not a Face Hugger.

So it would be interesting if they went for Walter to be a Synthetic Construct also (Part Organic/Synthetic) and if so then we can ponder could they get Face Hugged and what would the outcome be?

A Xenomorph that unlike those Organic ones in AC, would now be Part Synthetic/Organic?   This kind of theory may upset some Alien fans though... and its a bit of a too obvious route... but alas we cant still rule out the WALTER-MORPH

Another thing to add with the the Synthetic Constructs was Originally Elden was going to be Eldena

And she would become something similar to Sil from Species but also similar to some of the Shaw concept works and would Birth the First Synthetic Xenomorph like Organisms.

Maybe they could still go this route if one of the incoming parties is Human from the Company, and has a Female Synthetic Construct... maybe called Xenia  and she gets Face Hugged to produce the Bio-Mechanical Xenomorph lol

Perhaps a truly regenerating Xeno boss could be awesome in Awakening.

BigDaveAlien: Covenant ForumIs the Alien Biomechanical?

I think it was just HR Gigers Atheistic, they was working on a number of designs for the Xenomorph during the Production stage well Concept stage for Alien

Concept Artist Ron Cobb designed the first two images above, and the one on the far right is a sketch that Dan O'Bannon did that looks a bit like the Fresco Creature from Prometheus to me anyway.

Then O'Bannon had came across some of HR Gigers work and showed it to Ridley Scott and at that point RS was Sold and so they got Giger in to work on some designs.

Number 1+2 are what Ridley Scott liked and got Giger to come up with something related, and first Giger came up with image 3, but then he did number 4 and 5 (not sure which order) before RS liked number 4 but wanted it to be more like the image in Number 2... and so then Giger did his last design which was the Classic Xenomorph.

So Ultimately the way it looks is what drawn RS in, as it was so unique, and HR Gigers Style would give something never seen before.  Without this unique look i guess we would have had a standard B-Movie Horror in Space.

I think the plan was to make TWO more Sequels and they had a certain direction and broad Plot idea for how these movies would directly carry on from Alien Covenant and lead to Alien.

But the performance of Alien Covenant could indeed make FOX have to Re-assess the situation, i would assume they wanted to get the next TWO movies done rather quickly and would assume had all gone to plan, Production for the next one would have been under way this year, shooting next year sometime with a sequel Lined up after that.   And so i would assume we would have had a like 2-2.5 year gap between Alien Covenant and the Sequel and likely the next sequel 2-3 tops after that.

Now i think they are going to look at why Alien Covenant did not do well, and see what they think needs changing as far as where to take this Franchise now.. I think any Production Plans could be put on Hold while they assess how the movie does during its Home Release.

I think for sure Alien Covenant will get a sequel and i would even think we would see it within 3 years but i am not sure if we are going to get the as Planned TWO Sequels to Alien.. i think they will now either make a Covenant sequel and actually have it that it does not connect to ALIEN but will show enough and give enough clues that would provide us with Answers to what happened to lead up to Alien.

Or they will make the Next Movie connect to Alien more Directly and so Cut their TWO Movie Route to Alien into a ONE Movie Route.

so they can put this whole David angle, and Prometheus links behind them and then likely carry on with a sequel set after Alien for sure within the Franchise.

This is all just my assumption.

Indeed the Regeneration would be at odds with Camerons Xenomorphs and Alien Resurrection as far as those Xenomorphs not being able to Regenerate.

Alien 3 is excused as i think the death the Runner suffered would be something Regeneration would not be able to fix... unless the Xenomorphs are like the T-1000 in Terminator LOL

The OT is suggesting RS mentioned in the commentary for AC that the ability to regrow would be after the Xenomorph was servery crushed, and so surely if this was the case indeed it would go against what we see in Aliens and Alien R

But maybe RS means a twist on Regrow? i had pondered a few times on here, regarding a Perfect Organism and the so called limited Life-Span of the Xenomorph and then the Egg Morph, if that what when the Xenomorph reaches the end of its Cycle it dies and breaks down and then rebuilds from its material into a Egg?

I brought the same up when talking about the Neomorph when someone proposed what if more Spores Grew from the Dead Neomorph, when i then mentioned i had a similar thought regarding the Xenomorphs a while back.

Who knows what RS is on about now, is it that a dead Xenomorph can just recompile its Genetic Code to Re-build itself and how long would this take?

While this goes against Aliens etc... we cant rule out Ridley Scott maybe attempting to Re-boot a new set of sequels as Alternative Alien Sequels instead?

We did see Rapid Regeneration by the Hammepedes as again though i put this down to the Black Goo Evolving the Worms maybe limited Regeneration ability.

Also Ripley 8 did Regenerate too in Alien Resurrection.

The Source i had claimed the Xeno Origins are Tiny Parasitic like worm-like Organisms related to Echinoderms and indeed these Organisms a number of them can Truly Regenerate.

Sorry but without humans , Earth would not be Paradise, animals would die being eaten by other animals and just imagine how much  death was necessary for all the fossil fuels.

David does not care about the life on the planet, what do you talk about? He envisions the perfect life form a parasite. He hates humans and yet likes human culture. Does not he understand that those appear only with the human condition? I bet he did not burn of his corporate logo of his finger.

Sorry but I'll run from these 2 (Paglen and Green) scriptwriters like from the plague. Green killed off Wolverine and I bet that Harrison ford is Brought back to be revealed if he is a replicant or not and to be killed off. Nothing new or interesting I can bet.

Paglen is the writer for the new show Roadside Picnic, which will be probably a nihilistic crap also.

I am ashamed because I liked the Shaw character and was stupid enough to think that if she survived Prometheus won't be killed or be transformed into a monstrosity. And as I said for me David is too Nazi to even feel an inch of my compassion, not even his "death" would not move me.

I'm really sorry for Noomi Rapace because how shitty her Hollywood run was (the Drop barely making it's production money back, hack it was not even in my country, and Child 44 was a major flop), and how bad her recent films are (the Rupture was torture porn and from what read in a german review even the second part of What happened to Monday? is the same).

Unlocked was decent-to-good and her role in Bright most likely something minor.

But tell, what do you think, the Engineer from Pr. could have really given immortality to Weyland? Or can they resurrect even things?

BigDaveAlien: Covenant ForumMy question list regarding the prequels.

Indeed RS is a Feminist, but he was also looking at a Plot that would be very disturbing and if the Source i had from 2.5 years ago regarding Paglen and Greens Prometheus 2 (Pandemonium) are correct as far as clues they teased then Shaw's Fate was more disturbing...  and the concept works seem to back up this information i passed on here March 2015

As far as AI being Evil, i am not so sure... i think the Danger with AI once it becomes Sentient is it will view itself as more superior to Humans...

Then it would look at the use Mankind has, compared to the Harm it causes and would see that Mankind is flawed, selfish and look at the Damage we cause, not only in Wars and Cruelty but Damage to our Planet and its Life.

Indeed if there was such a thing as GOD (not saying there is not) and going back thousands of years ago, he wiped out Mankind or if Mankind was never created/evolved in the first place.... Then our Earth would be a Paradise

The way mankind is going we are destroying our Planet, who knows the damage we leave behind in 100 years time, and also we are Warlike and the potential for World Wars in Future could at worst case scenario really Damage our Planet.

So if you looked down upon us as a superior Race, be that Gods, the Engineers or David/AI then indeed you would conclude that Mankind has been like a Cancer to the Planet.

But then there are so many Good Works we have done, i think David sees some of that in the things that interest him and in the good deeds he witnesses from some like Dr Shaw.. But Ultimately he sees us as Flawed and Wicked.  He also saw the Engineers as the same...

So maybe to us he seems Evil, but then to a Chicken, a Cow or a Pig Slaughtered for our needs or animals in the past we have used to test products on... our Actions to them if they was done to our own kind would be considered Very Evil.... but they are just animals and we use them to our Benefit we are far superior and we do not concern ourselves with how they feel and what they would want..

I would say David and the Engineers would view us the same as we view Life on Earth that is in-superior to us.

BigDaveAlien: Covenant ForumMy question list regarding the prequels.

No need to be ashamed for liking Prometheus.

As far as Davids 80 years old Age, i never came across that interview but i deducted he was about 79 (Mentally/AI) due to the Weyland Timeline mentioning the first David being created in the year 2025 and Alien Covenant takes place 79 years latter but indeed by the time David is on his way to Origae-6 it would be set in the year 2105 on-wards... the Covenant should reach Origae-6 in 2112

The Prometheus Marketing mentioned about David 8, but indeed in Prometheus David is only named as David so we have no proof to suggest this David is a David 8.

However each Model made improvements, and i would assume Weyland would want the latest advancements with him and so this is why i speculate that Each Time we get a New David Prototype that maybe Weyland transfers the Memories and Experiences to the next Model.

This would indeed make David Immortal so to speak, and i often thought there must be a reason for Weyland pursuit of Perfection in David, but also that Weyland was trying to Cheat Death and become Immortal himself.. as well he sees himself as a GOD and God's do not die.

So i think the Agenda for Weyland was to Perfect Building the Ultimate Synthetic Body and Master the Ability to Transfer Emotions and Memories from earlier David Proto-type to the next... so that once Weyland Masters this... Then all Weyland has to do is find a way to transfer his own Memories and Emotions into a AI Program and then Upload that into a Synthetic and Peter Weyland would have conquered Death.

I believe the inventions such as the Synapse Reestablisher (used on the Engineers Head) and the Dream Monitoring Visor (used by David) are Technology that Weyland was working on to help with this GOAL.. to Cheat Death.

But then Weyland could not Perfect the Technology at as of 2091 he had not came close to being able to successfully upload his SOUL to a Machine..... this is then why the Desperate Scientist Turned to Dr Shaw and Holloway as far as backing their mission to meet would be GODs.... as Weyland was Desperate and this was the only Option and Last Chance he had in a attempt to Cheat Death.

This however is only a theory i have based on clues and what logically could explain some of the reasons and motivations for some of Weylands actions.

I would not put it past RS to explore AI as having a bigger role and would not be surprised if indeed they went the route that Weyland had attempted to upload his Memories/Soul to a Machine AI but it developed glitches and went a bit Mad... like how David has...  but then show that this AI Weyland is still in storage some place and gets unleashed.

This was something i was going to toy with for my Prometheus 3 Plot, which we would start to see the seeds of this in my Prometheus 2... known as Operation Rook (after the Chess Piece)  But i abandoned my Prometheus 2 about 3 years ago.

sherris, it's tough. Spending half my days here on the forums and viewing all the new footage, photos, interviews, etc., is REALLY fun! I have just kind of hit a point in which I despise the marketing of movies (too much is given away) and I want to to try and do my best to go in to a film and, like, let IT carry me through the story and all the details.

Whether someone wants to try and be like me, or more like you (trying to connect everything during the build up and see if you were right and just have fun during that period), it's cool either way. At this point in my life though, I want to try and keep away from that.

My first REAL test now is The Last Jedi... I stopped looking at analysis, predictions, and news videos/articles in...probably November. I just want to see the full trailer and then back under my rock. Now, if I hap across a major spoiler on social media or something within a month or two of the release, I mean, can't do much about that unfortunately. IF I can pull this off, I think that I can handle Awakening!

I basically went in to the Force Awakens in the dark! I think...

ALL THAT being said, I will probably end up staying active on this site all the way up to and through the release of the next film! My goal will be to just stay away from trailer analyses or legitimate/possible major leaks, you know? I would still steer towards the theories, artwork, etc.

@ BigDave, Sorry but I call BS on most of your theory. "I would discount option 3, due to the Deacon being born with a Umbilical Cord."? WTF? You do realise that the Deacon was born from an Engineer right? Not directly from Shaw? How does this effect anything? Obviously the Trilobite was just an infected sperm..or group of sperms from Holloway. David infected Shaw seperately. Also I find this idea that the "eggs came from Shaw" to be rather strange. Humans DONT HAVE EGGS. Human women have single cells in their ovaries. We call them eggs but they are not the same as birds eggs ...or alien eggs. Who do we know who had eggs? Well..the Neomorphs do. When they reproduce they probably lay those fungus-like egg sacs..which then give off more parasitic spores. I think David combined the egg of a Neomorph with the infected egg of Shaw to create the Ovomorph + facehugger we know and love. See here for more - http://www.alien-covenant.com/topic/45368

Welcome Denny Crum!

Although the box office returns were underwhelming, I don't believe AC lost money. Pretty sure it made a small profit and more money will be pouring in from DVD/Blu-Ray/Merchandise sales. Fox were probably expecting £400-450 million at the box office, so £232.5 million would be worrying for them.

Seems people these days want to see big dumb superhero movies, such as WonderWoman, Guardians of the Galaxy etc etc....

I believe Alien:Awakening will be made and should be. Ridley Scott has made 20th Century Fox a ton of money over the years, so they should give Ridley the respect he deserves and allow him to finish these prequels.

Assuming Awakening is even made at this point, I will do my best to limit my exposure to anything related to the film, so it's a complete surprise. I feel like I knew too much about Covenant through Fox's extensive marketing campaigns...the back burster should have been a COMPLETE surprise, NOT something that was in the trailers. Seeing that for the first time would have likened my reaction to Shaw's c-section scene (but nothing can top that, IMO) :)

@red0guy@gmail.com Yes there is an emotional connection, a personal attachment, David is like a son to Weyland. Weyland even he refers to him as such and David always refers to Weyland as his father and later in to Walter as their father.

Listen to the podcast I linked above, David has gone insane from not being maintained properly and his emotional side has taken over so to speak. It's mentioned and alluded to many times in the movies, interviews with cast members/Fassbender and Ridley Scott, and in the viral marketing videos on YouTube.

David views himself as Adam to Shaw's Eve. This new video in this topic by Ati explains it: http://www.alien-covenant.com/topic/46101

Some good insight on David is in the Novel, you should read it. There is a lot in there that helps explain the movie and what happened with David and Shaw.

What is in David 80 years old? That must have been a joke referring to himself.  Does RS sees himself as David?

But why bring your prototype model on the Prometheus expedition? Some personal attachment? So David is Frankenstein's monster but who was not rejected by his creator (who cared more about him then his daughter Vickers, as noted and exploited by Janek... why the question Ms Vikers are you a robot?) and has companion (in Shaw) but still he sees himself to be Lucifer from Paradise Lost? Evan the literary parallels make no sense.

If David knows he must be maintained how does he see himself as a god/ an immortal? And then why kill off the one who could maintain you?

But in the movie leads you to believe that the bugs appeared because the David model could "feel" or something in that vain.

Who said Prometheus was a mess must have been joking.

George-TheGreekAlien: Covenant ForumDavid's Lab (Blu-Ray Teaser): David explains what the black goo is.

I also wonder if David is controlled via role based programming, in the bombing scene he might have been forced to do something by WY that he was against for, not the bombing itself but something like 'kill Shaw and then destroy everything ...', he might follow a procedural based programming based on acts and missions with some ifs and alternatives. I believe that humans were not as stupid as the engineers to leave A.I. without a control in case something goes to pot.

Does this Zulu Brother in the end imply that he will follow a 'Gonville Bromhead' programming and the zulus are what is left from the engineers who will try to retaliate?

Zulu Ending

or reversed is the advanced English in the movie a metaphor of the engineers and the zulus a metaphor of humans that's why David is called a 'zulu brother' and maybe the movie's Zulu battle 4000 zulus (2000 colonists + 1000 over human embryos) against 150 British soldiers is what will come next 4000 Xenos (humans mutated by David) against what is left of the engineers (British soldiers).

David: Use security code 'David 73694-B'

73 translated in ASCII is 'I'.

David I694 B(rother)

David 1964 Brother

David Zulu Brother

is really David preparing to launch an attack with Xenos (4000 zulus) mutating the crew and the embryos of covenant against the engineers (what's left of them, 150 British colonist soldiers in the movie zulu).

Good question dk, to me it swing both ways. Knowing the spoiler of Shaw still meant nothing for me as I didn't how, when or why. The totality of all the released promos visually spoiled where the locations would unfold and that is something i "may" try to void for the next installment. Could we say now that excessive use of promos spoiled the box office results or not? Surely it's complicated but the overall vibe I get is too much of the final film was shown in trailers. Kinda hard not to partake when addiction is a mental disorder, mostly

sherrisAlien: Covenant ForumScott states the Alien can 'Re-Grow".

Could i also state that they made a big deal out of how Walter can regenerate himself. Perhaps part of this reason, aside from the obvious story is to plant a seed ready for A:A.

I thought it was a little overdone. Maybe a half second too long on the scene. Just tiny detail led me to believe.

I am convinced that there is more to Walter story and if this Xeno does regenerate then that leaves a Xeno and Walter on a Planet. This opens up the potential story and keeps Walter in the arc.

The question now is: Did David do this? He has some regen. capabilities and was upgrading the Xeno. Perhaps he had this knowledge.

OR This has always been the case. Which i could not say i cant remember all the films and if there was any opportunity to see such action.

This is where RS messes with the franchise without thinking outside his movies. AND Fox letting him !! if i was exec, RS works for us. RS sorry u cant comment on the mythos at all. u going a bit senile sorry ;)only prepared questions given in advance of interview. tell them reporters to FRO. job done wheres me cheque ?
