Dark Horse Comics have announced the next 8-part comic series based in the Alien universe! Not only that, but the new comic also ties in to the upcoming untitled Alien game being developed by Cold Iron Studios! This suggests to us that the new game will involve Colonial Marine action as well, as many have suspected. The comics focus on a rogue detachment of Marines who defy direct orders to rescue survivors of a refinery under siege. Check out the cover art and synopsis below:
Aliens Colonial Marines: Rising Threat delves into the formative years of the Colonial Marines. Tying into the events of the upcoming Cold Iron Studios videogame, this new series introduces Olivia Shipp, leader of a squad of battle-weary Marines who have defied orders to rescue the survivors of a refinery under siege.
Aliens Colonial Marines: Rising Threat will go on sale September 18th, 2019 and is available for pre-order now!
