Concept artist Dane Hallett was responsible for designing many of the creatures for Alien: Romulus, one of which was the Scorched Xenomorph - arguably the film's main antagonist. What set the Scorched Xenomorph apart from its Alien brethren was its deformed cranium - a result of an interrupted gestation period within its cocoon. The acid from its own body having disfigured the face and jaw slightly after being electrocuted. Dane provided a number of alternative concept designs for the Scorched Xenomorph - ranging from more biological to more mechanical and everything in between!
