That mural one is certainly interesting. The hole is pretty much where the jockey's tear is located in Alien, just extended a bit more.
It definitely looks to be designed by Carlos Huante.
Looks more like Giger to me, especially the pet thing.
Ridley Scott will eventually tell us how the Queen was born.
Right now we have the Deacon; coming soon the Mercury, the May and the Taylor.

the creature that lies beneath the man on the left is really strange..
seems that it is sticking something into the humans leg...
strange, too, the humans arm is morphed into the head of the creature?

Yes, I cannot really tell where the arm/hand ends and the head (if there is a head!) begins.
Rather than sticking something in the leg of the humanoid being, it seems to me that it has spikes on its elbows (look at the right arm, there's a similar spike, they are also seen in the red outline above).
The original Giger's alien has similar spikes protruding from its elbows.

This whole scene could perhaps show a continually changing 'informational mural' with many different images morphing over each other.
We see a brief moment of it in the trailers, and it does indeed remind me of the 'Sistine Chapel' ceiling painting...from HELL!

look at the arms of the criature of the mural, elbow appears to have a kind of thorn or spur like the classic Xenomorph.

PS: I know it's not a Xeno but it sure has some similar characteristics. On the other hand as pointed out by @ Sigismund, like a painting of God and Adam, or maybe Frankenstein and his creation: "The Monster" (an ancestor of the Xenomorph)

I agree, pretty much the same creature as on the Sky cave painting:

Just to the left of the tall guy... seems subservient to the humanoid.

The giant head is probably inspired by this illustration done by a French artist Gustave Dore depicting Satan in his icy prison:

It could indeed be the same creature in the cave painting. But the one thing that makes me think it isnt the same creature, is that the cave painting creature is quite small compared to the tall guy.
If what Im seeing and outlined in red is correct in any way, and it is drawn to scale of the big blue guy, then the creature looks to be of equal size, or even a bit bigger(compare "head" size of the two) -

Im kinda thinking it has something to do with a xeno or space jockey.

@Kane77
Look between the two pink circles you drew. That is a Space Jockey elephant head with eyes and snout looking down. Tilt your screen. Also it looks to have a scorpion stinger about to pierce the image of the blue guys leg. I see three figures when zoomed in.
The elephant head is right directly above the stinger.

I love heavy speculation!

The sting is in the side arm of the creature, similar to the Xenomorphs. But certainly his head looks more like a Space Jockey helmet.
Anyway it is quite possible that this creature is the same as appears in the rock art of the Sky island. Perhaps the giant God wanted to say: "Under no circumstances travel to this star system or you will come face to face with this" ...
April 11, 2012
@ NoXWord - I have NO idea how you see that LOL!
But yeah, I love heavy speculation too.
@ Shilliam Watner - Yup, I said it kinda looks like a space jockey head too. But when you compare them, they are quite different. Also the space jockey doesnt have those spike things on his elbows. Still could be him though....or it could be nothing at all! Just another case of Jesus face seen in toast lol!
EDIT - The original Space Jockey DOES appear to have something that resembles spikes coming from his elbows!....only it seems like they have "grown into his arm/chair"....

@Shatner
not really convincing.. the two egg looking thingies look like KNEES, very realistic painted..but when these are knees the whole body position would be wrong..;)
strange..
April 11, 2012
@ Kane - Agreed. The big guys right knee(our left) looks strange so I looked at it more and thought it may be an egg....even with something like a chest burster coming out of it LOL
I think thats definitely a case of seeing Jesus in toast though! Im just looking at it for too long.
April 11, 2012
Actually, there a position in which those knees would be consistent with a humanoid figure, that is with the legs crossing at the ankles. In that position the knees are forced apart and there's room for bending the head.
But also, many Giger's paintings defy perspective (assuming that this is from Giger).

@Kane77
Well I see what looks to be a arm draping over the middle of the back of the elephant head body like there is a another figure behind it that we cant see. Remember the still is of a incomplete morphing image taking place. I just don't see the elepant head image with one eye socket visible as a knee.
