I'm just gonna be general in my '[i]ridiculous[/i]' comment and not open the door for a bunch of pointless arguing and instead acknowledge the core of the problem of some peoples ideas which is they're are baseless or even worse yet based on misconceptions...if you're offended by my use of the word "ridiculous" then i apologize, but I promise you that it is RIDICULOUS to post absurd predictions if you aren't even paying attention to whats going on in other threads and official studio material that has been release.....also, a stupid idea is a stupid idea... I think [i]A LOT[/i] of people would stop with the ridiculous theories if they had a better concept of what Bio-mechanics were...... The reason I feel it's importance to this film is that not only is Bio-mechanics kind of complicated of a concept to understand in our present day real world non-fiction applications [i]BUT[/i] the [i]Engineers[/i] are supposed to be light years ahead in this technology, i.e. their suits, vehicles, tools, etc... [b]Example: The [i]Space Jockey[/i] suit is a living creature....A simple organism, but alive none the less.[/b][b]...Oh, and engineered and manufactured by them as well.[/b]

@AlsoKnownAsNate Which ridiculous theories? Some people's theories may not be as well thought out as others, but let's hold on with calling theories ridiculous without saying what is ridiculous about them.

Respectful dissent is how this site goes. I don't mind someone disagreeing with a theory. I just prefer a basis for the disagreement rather than general statement about it. I ain't "butt-hurt." I love discussing and debating ideas and, in light of recent events, some of my theories WERE ridiculous. I just prefer to know why someone thinks my theory is ridiculous, and I don't think I'd be alone in that regard. I agree that many ideas on this site are flawed, and I don't think it is trolling to address those flaws.

Matter of fact, besides the obvious comment I directly wrote above to you, nothing i've written has been aimed at you.....BUT Your buddy allinamberclad does seem a little 'butt hurt' about our little dialogue now @allinamberclad: watch what you're gonna say next there, buddy.... I've yet to take a personal shot at anyone and you're obviously trying to spark something with your "I wonder if you actually are grasping the concept..." comment.
