You all are assuming too much anyways.....I literally saw the image and thought "oh shit, they took david's head off" and not once did I treat it like it was the end of the movie.....like it was the big twist...or even the end of David.... I didn't declare it his DEATH or that It's THE END OF DAVID.... I simply pointed out something from the trailer.....whether it was obvious or not is irrelevant.... FOX put it out there.... in an official manner

I looked at the image because it was a never before seen one of a certain angle of a creature and a peice of furniture. But i looked a little to deep and spotted something...... wonder if he ran around like a chicken. But yes that image is the BIGGEST Spoiler we have seen, even bigger than the aknowledgement that Weyland is 100% on Prometheus.... opps let that one out of the bag, but hey we guessed that right. As for the other one well that was a suprise and spoiler, i guess as i hinted after i saw it a few hours ago, that that puts the Engineers being friendly with David theory to bed ;)

Dont take that bad just kidding, but there was a call card spoiler posted before where it does say about David lossing his head, i could not read it well but read parts like Jockey getting knocked out of the chair from impact and David loses his head from bouncing off Chair. I wonder was that BS! Maybe it holds some truth but that image does not match, that dont show Jockey getting knocked out his chair does it? Maybe it does, maybe he is holding his helmet when in the scene just before the mask is on the back of the chair. So maybe just a acident.... but i doubt it.

Oh well some other poster speculated that the Prometheus or the mission prior had lots of David 8 parts that are used to make the Jockeys so i guess they got enough parts to fix him up. Oh well C3P0 was easy to fix i mean how many times did he break lol.

I dont think the thread needs locking... Is that not for threads that are repeated? This is a new topic. I would have however had titled it. WARNING MASSIVE SPOILER..... DAVIDS DEATH SPOILER And then not posted the image in this page, just placed the link so that its then up to viewers to click on thread and image, thus they would not know how David dies just by the Title. Myself this is a massive spoiler and i would not have posted it myself. We know all Andriods pretty much end up dead, i just thought David would die a Hero or have some massive part in the plot, so this is a disapointing revelation for me. As we pretty much know most of the crew are going to die, we even have some clues as to when. As far as some goes. But i would think any spoilers in regards to what happens and where Vickers, Shaw, Holloway, David the Jockeys and maybe Weyland are in this movie i would consider to be massive spoilers. The other crew well we knew they would all be cannon fodder.

WTF!!!! why would they have this in a trailer.... this is the biggest spolier ever to have landed on this website utter shocker, guess we can all put to bed the theorys about david8. THIS IS A EPIC FAIL BY RS AND FOX GAVE AWAY WAY WAY TO MUCH HERE.... considering David has one of the biggest rolls in PROMETHEUS, Disappointing really is :(

Cheers Gem]n[ Maybe the only other saving thing is maybe change the bit about David head, so viewers who dont want spoilers will not know he loses his head, they would see a thread (Spoiler David Death Warning) they can then choose to go... nope i ant clicking on that. The thing is though we are all curious and i guess makes us a dumb as some of the crew lol. If i posted a thread saying "optained on set shot of what happens to Jockey in that 8 min footage" How many would click on it just to see if it was just BS and Spam, and then if it was the real deal and real spoiler they would be like... "oh dear wish i never clicked on that"

Think about it - the Engineer doesn't need David's body...just his brain: all the information about humanity stored in perfect fidelity. I wonder if the crew back on the P can observe whats happening to him?

@Shambhala Yes i am sure Weyland would pay attention to that, i think a redesign is needed and Bender would be decent and survived that incounter. The thing is they get worse with every new one lol Ash anyone. Maybe after David 8 Weyland becomes like Rover, there Cars just get worse and worse untill they go bust. Maybe Weyland can sell them to the Chinese or Yutani ;)

This is no spoiler..we dont know who it is, but we can assume. This was on todays TV spot..and u can spot the blue spacesuit on the back and on the other side the bag.

Yep i guess its like real life Religious debates, maybe some would be in denial, even when you find proof i.e Dinosaurs Fossils, the Earth being round lol. He's not "dead" he is disassembled. If anyone can get to him they can put him back together. And the head wakes up and starts broadcasting to Vickers quarters. Also on the call sheet.

I really wish I wouldn't have clicked on it but maybe this is a genius marketing plan, and he doesn't have such a huge role or a really big role that has a logical reason for hi death. On the other hand maybe they overlooked it thinking no fan would go through and look at the tiny tiny details. I'm extremely interested to see how this actually plays in... I don't think FOX and (mainly) RS would let out that big of an event/plot piece. I haven't really kept up on all the theories etc. so hoping I'm not missing a rather big piece of information that's been released. -Britt
