Potential Spoiler - Idea on what happens to David

As a member of the staff, I feel obliged to make it clear what is expected on this site as it pertains to possible SPOILERS, SPOILAGE, etc.........In the event that any member discovers information that can and likely will be seen as a SPOILER by the majority of the forum and plans to post it, we would INSIST that the term SPOILER be included in the title of the thread and any pertinent information related to said SPOILER(S) be left out of the thread title.......This was a request BugHunter made of the forum a long while back....please oblige....

One: Anyone who read the cue sheet that leaked yesterday knows david loses his head. Two: If something this minor spoils a movie for you, you might wanna reconsider having the internet, Three: To those who say Fox dropped the ball...No they didn't. It is a flash in the trailer. You dropped the ball yourself by looking at threads on the movie. You joined a forum dedicated to that movie. You did it to yourself. You came here looking for information on the movie, and what you found is are screen caps. Boo. God, it seems the only way people won't scream SPOILER is of you have a black screen that only says "PROMETHEUS" on it.

One: not everyone read it cuz not everyone wants spoilers. Two: how do you know it's minor? That is your opinion. Three: it's common courtesy since the dawn of forums not to put the actual spoiler in the name of the thread! So no, people did not have a choice. Joining this forum doesn't mean you have to know everything. That is why thre are threads to click on, and appropriate titles to those threads. You can seek the information you want, not be forced info you didn't want. Four: any questions? Didn't think so.

I just find it weird people coming looking for information and when they get to much they scream foul. To me, this isn't even spoiler worthy. A full script is. A leak is. A full critic of the movie scene by scene is. A head on a floor? Big fucking deal. Without context it to me is a meaningless image and nothing more. I don't know why or how it is there. If I knew those, that would be a spoiler. I find spoilers weird. I saw empire strikes back after knowing that Vader was Lukes father. didn't ruin my enjoyment of the movie at all.

That really doesn't spoil much honestly... There are bigger fish to fry.

I understand what you're saying Shane, but read your post..."me", "I". You're a member of a community here, and as such are required to think outside of yourself. Yes, this forum is for information, but people still have a right to decide just how much information they want. It's also quite easy to follow the rules and have some descency. Do you want to get obliterated every time you walk into a bar? What if you only want one drink, or came to meet a friend, but...hey, you came in the door...down this bottle of tequila. Does that help?

@Shane,I agree one of your points, in the fact that people (who hate spoilers) will see the title and read the information anyway. And then begin to download all their anger or cries against the person who created the thread. For my part I understand the factor of surprise in a movie, but that's the SPOILER ALERT!!!, so do not be foolish...
