Okay... My goodness. Just dealt with some people on our facebook page who got upset about links we posted containing a SPOILER tag in the title and even a message saying "View at your own discretion"... So forgive me everyone if I come across as a bit annoyed. [b]#1 - SPOILERS[/b] A spoiler is as stated above anything that contains information that could potentially ruin the surprise basically. We don't want to force people to read info they want to avoid - thus we ask for you to put spoiler in the title of your thread and not to give away the content in short, in the title. Thus keeping the thread contents a mystery unless a user physically clicks the link. HOWEVER, as some people are saying "exploding david head", or "exploding SJ head", let me be very clear about this. THIS IS NOT CONFIRMED NOR OFFICIAL. Fox has not released a press release stating "David's head explodes". This is a screen cap being interpreted by fans who study these trailers down to every detail. SO - that being said, this is just like all the other threads we have which speculate on the film. It is SPECULATION - not a spoiler. It is polite to add "potential spoiler" in the topic title or description, but not needed for s purely SPECULATION thread. Speculation is the pure reason we are all on here daily. To share thoughts and ideas. That's what a forum is. This isn't the official site. If you just want to go to a Prometheus website and stare at the same trailer over and over again and read a 2 paragraph film synopsis, then be my guest and spend your time on the official pages! But this site allows for fans, both young and old to express their ideas and questions which we have been pondering for decades! [b]#2 - SITE STAFF[/b] I am not normally moderating each thread that gets posted here. Too many are being posted daily and frankly, I'm busy ensuring this site runs as smoothly as possible and developing new ways to enhance the site so you all can continue to enjoy it well past the film's release. If you have an issue, or feel one of the staff on the site are not acting justly, or are abusing their right, then personal message or email me directly. Not other staff, but me. Any issue involving a staff member should be directed to me so that I may deal with it. No public bantering should take place - it's unprofessional. #3 - VISITING THIS SITE Can I guarantee you won't read a "spoiler" when browsing this site? absolutely not. Am I going to post a bright pink banner that says "THIS SITE CONTAINS SPOILERS"? Absolutely not. I have already stated and will once again that I will be taking the recent post feed down and replacing it with a notice indicating that these forums do contain potential spoilers and that viewing this site is your own choice and what you read is because of your own doing. I will be doing what I can to ensure the secrecy of this film as much as possible, but lets be real here guys. This is the internet. Good luck censoring everything. I am just as much a fan as all of you are. But this nonsense about spoilers and what's considered a spoiler and what can be posted and what can't is seriously driving me nuts! I love coming here, because all of you are genuinely cool people and I really enjoy reading what you all have to say! From the first couple weeks this site was online and Neurion joined up and posted essays it would seem on his Alien theories. I would sit and read that sh*t for hours. You guys are losing sight of what this website is about. It's for fans to get together, chat and share ideas and cool things they find. NOT to criticize or post hateful comments towards each other for having an IDEA. Lets get back to how it should be folks and stop getting upset over things that aren't that big of a deal. Do you have any idea how many secrets there still are left to be exposed come June 8th? (or 1st for some of you lucky ones) Ridley Scott is not stupid. He's playing these cards just to build up the hype for this film even further. So stop worrying that the film is ruined cause you saw one screen cap from a publicly release TEASER trailer. Instead, tear it apart! Analyse every detail, post your ideas freely! I'm leaving this thread open for more discussion, I want to ensure everyone here understands where I am coming from. But seriously guys, remember why you're here in the first place. To be a fan. So, no more angry posts, no more pissed off responses towards other members. Oh my lord, please don't tell me after all of this you still feel justified to put your spoiler in the thread name?! After all your continued whining, you agree with JP that you should've not done so...don't you find that...odd and contradictory to what you're still fighting?

We're not just here to get the latest news but to analyse, speculate and discuss inofficial news as well as topics off the beaten track. And they're coming in thick and fast... It's a forum, a fan site for christ's sake! Of course it is full of spoilers as they emerge on an hourly base by now, as we speak. And yours wasn't even one. They kept the 'leaked' call sheet online on purpose, neatly followed by a brand new TV Spot! That's what FOX wants, confuse people, mess with them! As the for the attitude, ignorance, arrogance and randomness around here, I also agree with you. I had moments where I thought I'm gonna leave this community shortly after I joined. But then I realised it's by far not the majority of people behaving like that on this site. Most of them are good people that have interesting and inspiring things to share. So please don't SPOIL it for us and yourself, by putting SPOILER in every subject, you are better than that my friend! Nate that's well put and I see now that it was an honest mistake but as others have said there are more than a few who will not be amused by it but my apologies if I said something wrong to you we are all here not for spoilers as someone else said but for the fact that at least in my case and quite possibly yours we love and appreciate the amazing and wondrous universe that it's Alien.

I don't think it's a big deal honestly, we all want to see what happens. We are curious, too damn curious.

@alsoknownasnate IMO I don't think it was even a spoiler. I'm really good at looking for small images in a screenshot and I can't tell anything so whatever, no big deal. That paper that showed what scenes was to be filmed and what would happen told me more than this picture. I really don't communicate on here much to people directly because I find. There was a picture with David in the star map room with all these engineers walking around him and to me that was a bigger spoiler. Someone just re-posted that on a forum the other day and I'd never saw it before but I just thought oh cool, that's weird, then I moved on. So keep fightin the good fight, I know this is a late comment, I missed all the action : (
