SO...what happens to Wrinkly Weyland?

POSSIBLE EXISTING SPOILERS IN THEORY....So Weyland is on his ship. A man in his position and with his ambition, having a choice of spending his remaining years on earth or being first to experience and get his hands on alien technology..well, it's no choice really. The David8 model on board is pre programmed for Weyland and is protecting the old man and his scheme. Weyland has made him more of an artificial son than a standard model. When they touch down and it's established that there is indeed a ship on the planet, David is tasked with deciphering how the tech works, including how to navigate and fly the vessel. The bio-helmet (complete with head inside) they recover is scanned, and from it, information gained as to how to replicate the technology. During the mission, tension flares between Vickers and David. Vickers is aware that her father seems to care more for his creation than her. Whilst chaos ensues around them with the crew that Weyland sees now as more expendable than useful, Weyland plans to be taken to the temple by David and steal the ship and pilot it to earth. He wants to be like Prometheus and steal the fire from the gods. He says as much to Vickers who warns him, " If you go down there, you'll die". Weyland has learnt a great deal from the impregnation of Shaw and the effects of the alien bio material on his human crew. Under the cover of all the fighting, David takes Weyland and fits him into the juggernauts pilot chair using the adapted helmet they have built using the advanced 3d printing devices on board (Weyland built of course). He's a little small for it..but they've made some adaptations and the chair "blends" with it's new pilot. At this point, as David is setting the path for Earth (having found the globe in the vast 3d star map)...the ship starts to launch, but the ENGINEER (a being created by the original SJ's, who turned on them savagely), which Weyland and David believed was occupied assaulting the Prometheus (something that David8 facilitated by letting it on board to finish off the crew who were wise to his plan), enters the chamber.... David has previously encountered the engineer in the chamber whilst examining the star map and in a spine tingling encounter, it chose (?) not to harm him...possibly seeing him as a non-sentient being, however, now as the engineer goes to attack Weyland in the pilots chair, David reacts to defend him and there is a short struggle during which Davids head is wrenched off. The remaining crew on the Prometheus, are now fully aware of the extent of Weyland's plan and know where the ship is about to head to. They know what is on board and that Weyland has used them all as expendables. They realise what will happen if Weyland unleashes the technology on earth and those on the Prometheus, most of them infected in some way set a noble suicide course to destroy the vessel. Vickers however wants to live...she doesn't want her hated father to be the cause of her death and so she takes one of the escape pods. The ships collide. The Prometheus hull is no match for the bio-mech ship, but it knocks it off course and sends it plunging towards the ground. The engineer falls during the collision, just as he was about to rip Weyland from the chair. He manipulates the controls in the room and the ships speed decreases as it wrenches itself from the gravitational pull and comes to a halt nose down. No idea beyond that except that....like the end of Alien where Ripley has to go around the ship to find Jonesy....for some reason Shaw and Vickers will go back into the derelict..possibly to find David....who may still be streaming them video. Possibly to find Weyland...or possibly because it's the only way off this rock....if they can kill the engineer......it'll be nerve jangling!!! Just my thoughts at the moment.....any comments?

That's misleading, we can clearly see that the woman at the back is taller because she is wearing platforms and higher heels, while the shorter one doesn't wear platform and has shorter heels. It's an optical illusion, don't be fooled!
Ridley Scott will eventually tell us how the Queen was born. Right now we have the Deacon; coming soon the Mercury, the May and the Taylor.

@NoXWord Take their shoes off and the lady in front is now barely peeking over the nipples of the amazon queen!

I assume no one here is actually saying that the shot we get of the individual in the big chair looks smaller than the guy they find in Alien because of angles, illusions, etc....?

lol...... Yes take of the heels.... thats my point with the Pilots some may think the one in Prometheus is just man sized.... the one in Alien 15ft... no they are not. The small woman is 5ft2" the tall Woman is 6ft8" The shoes are not really part of the illusion as they both have heels only one may be 2" more... If we took a photo of them seperate that 6ft8" women would look what.... Model Height and thus 5ft10 to 6ft, and that other model we could assume could be like 5ft6" There is about 18" height difference but it looks like its more but its not, and if we saw both women in seperate images against black background they would look a lot less than 18" difference.... This is part of the illusion of the Alien Jockey and Prometheus. Alien Jockey i would assume to be 11-12ft, Prometheus one 9-10ft and thus i think we looking at about 2ft difference.

I am amazed at how people could take my statement seriously.

@gameover man I am ;) Yes the Arms dont look right, and indeed the one in Alien looks longer, but the Arms on the Prometheus one looks smaller due to the angle by smaller i means looks smaller than his arms actually are. I am not saying Alien Pilot and Prometheus Pilot are the same size as i said the Alien one i think is 11-12ft tall but the angles make it look larger. The Prometheus one is about 9-10ft tall but the angles make it look smaller. Take a friend and sit him in a convertable Car with the Seat reclined back and take a photo of him as upright as he can be and then another with him slouched down as far as he can be. He would look at least 1foot taller in the one image compared to the other. I dont think the Prometheus Pilot is man sized, we had this discussion when someone posted a new image of him next to the chair and some was saying... see he is way smaller than the Alien one, look at Chair he has to be man sized, he must be David 8 etc... Only i noticed in back ground in same shot well poor David and his size difference which ruled out the David 8 and Man Sized theory. But when you can have a Man whos 5ft and another whos 7ft why would all the Engineers be 9ft? Thats my explanation for the Jockey in Alien being bigger. But some still think its because both Pilots are different races, ones a Space Jockey thats different to the Blue Guy and the other is a Human.... Well thats as bizare as reading the Bible lol

@NoXWord I know.... lol but you was correct. Place 10 women in a room bare foot and its hard to see much difference. Place a 5ft Woman in 2" heels next to a near 7ft one in 4" heels and then you create a illusion that the tall one is like 8ft

@belladonna : D Is that an authorised pic of Weyland? I like the idea of David8 strutting up to Shaw and saying "Hey baby...wanna go kill all humans"?

ive seen the profile of both chair shots, Prometheus and Alien, about as similar of an angle as could be asked without it intentionally being compared, and one guy is just much smaller, i dont see any way around that. you also have to consider other things, like how two people can look more similar in height when sitting down than when standing up. not all people are of the same proportions of torso and legs. for all we know prometheus SJ cant even reach the pedals. this variable could strengthen or weaken an argument in either direction here. the more you look at that SJ in Alien, the more you realize that its mammoth in size.... now wheres this room with 10 barefoot women? im into it.

@Big Dave ....Clues ...yes there can be some clues ...proofs of course not . The only real clue is that you dont book guy pearce for 5 minutes ...oh wait they already did 2 times ( the road and the hurt locker ) "" and they said Guy Pierce apears in the movie in various guises."" where they did say that ???? "Ridley hinted there may be more than one Andriod.... so we are all thinking that Vickers is one...." that was a joke right after the naked pushups one ...but people insisted there were naked pushups . @holden ..that was already said after the 12 min preview , that contain the holographic message from weyland no proofs yet only that blurred photo of that old guy in the hangar scene

@Holden_on Thanks I think I heard about this a while back...something about the hologram saying, "If you're seeing this then I'm already dead". Again, it could just be smoke and mirrors. He could have planned for it to be played regardless of the situation. Thanks for the link though.

David 8 is bald when he comes out of the freshness package. Maybe its a second David 8 like some have speculated.

@beyondthebloodplain Thank you for your comments. I understand entirely what you mean about the Star Trek figuring out of alien technology thang.... all a bit too convenient...In my mind..it's more of a case that David's processing power is immense and once he has found a small solution he can resolve further complex problems faster and faster until he can get, at the very worst a clue as to how to operate the thing....I think that is all a desperate and passionate entrepreneur like Wayland would need to make an attempt at then piloting it. To his mind...it's a flying machine operated by humanoids...it can't be that complex....if they can get it off the ground, they have time to work out the rest. If he can decipher the language, he might even find further clues with the controls themselves. Perhaps the reason it is so slow in getting away is the fact that they haven't worked out the controls yet. Perhaps David has set the course to Earth and the ship is just piloting itself. What do you think?

HoneyBadger: Yes, Nick Saban has one at Alabama, and I believe JoePa had one at PSU built before he died. I think wrinkly Weyland turns the black goo into skin creme, gets rid of his wrinkles, softens his skin, and evens his tone. Then he fills a Juggernaut up with it to take back to Earth. Janek likes it so much, he wants it all for himself and rams the Juggernaut. VIckers knew about the goo ahead of time, and she wants it for herself, that's why she's on the trip. Fifield was pissed cuz it didn't help him so he goes ballistic. Holloway thought it would make his eye sight better, he was having problems seeing straight...but he was wrong. Shaw thought it would be a good cleansing drink, so she drank it. It made her really bloated. She was wrong...so wrong. Asshugger was there first, so he tries to protect his claim to the product. It all goes wrong... I forgot the SJ's/Engineers. They say, "Stupid humans...why do you think we are called engineers? Because we manipulate DNA? No, that's child's play. It's because we engineered this amazing interglactic skin creme....now GTFO!!!!"
