Why is the average cinema goer so much more bloody picky nowadays?

Yer like I said earlier she does show some strength (and it does look a bit unreal) but what was the gravity level - we don't know could of been less or just plain weird - if you think about it she was on the edge of the ship - which way does the gravity go up or down or nowhere!? For me its near enough the boundaries of reality to let it go :P ...

The Queen, although somewhat injured, did not have the strength to lift her own body against the force of the wind. How Ripley managed to resist that force beggars belief. But it was a good scene nonetheless.
The most terrifying fact about the universe is not that it is hostile but that it is indifferent

It's easier to pick fault than deliver praise for a lot of people - especially when they don't get what they want.

Given all the bloody SFX we see you'd think people would forget plot holes more but they don't. They are now more concerned than ever with them. EG- TDKR- nuclear explosion would have made a tidal wave to kill off Gotham!

Not to mention that people rarely fill out comment cards after a hotel stay to say how wonderful it was but they'll definitely chew out the front desk clerk, write a bad review online and call to demand a refund if they're not happy. It's the same with films. People that liked a film may or may not leave a review but the ones that are disappointed always do complain loudly and often which tends to skew the reviews towards the negative when in reality there were as many or more that liked the film. Also, people are lazy and stupid but want to seem smart. Critiquing films seems to be the new past-time of pseudo intellectual posers that laughably want to prove their intelligence online by dissecting films frame by frame to find fault rather than just sitting back and enjoying themselves. To me that's just pathetic. If you want to prove your intelligence then get a degree in physics, do some research that gets you published in scientific journals and nominated for a nobel prize and then I'll think you're smart. I'm not going to think you're an intellectual because you found faults in one film while ignoring faults in other films just because they are now considered classics.
