Stop With The 'Everything's Transforming Into Face Hugger Eggs' Mentions....

Well imagine if there was never any Alien sequels, you have to ask would the Xeno had become that iconic monster that it now is? Ridley and Giger created the Xeno, but would it had been as iconic if it was not for Aliens? Everyone has their own oppinions, some hate Aliens and how the Xeno came out, they may have prefered the stealthy way the Xeno hunted its victims in Alien. But ask yourself what if 20 face huggers from Alien had got to Earth and impregnanted 20 Humans... would the Organism go around on a killing spree like it did in Aliens... i would think it would.

With regards to that scene... There was another version where the attacker did not apear to have long limps, whats strange is this one the head seems to look familiar to the object the crew are examining in this scene. Maybe but untill we see the actual movie its hard, as with any scene to actually be bang on the money with whats going on. What i find interesting is that new Mural scene where some highlighted that the Jockey was touching some kind of Organism/Beast.... Maybe thats what that crew member is turning into?

@Syphonox - Thats an idea I have too and I like it because it supports both the ideas of cocooning and the queen as a way to reproduce.

from the trailer we can see that there are several new creatures....I think this movie taps into creation, evolution, and mythology and all points between....the goo represents the primordial ooze of evolution- I think it makes anything mutate- from inactive elements to living organisms, I think the creatures emerge from a mutated prometheus crew.....so my point is: the xenomorph may be one of many creatures we see......and if you reference that mural on the ceiling....well I think there was alot in that ceiling, not just xeno's......I think its an ingenous way to recapture the franchise without acknowledging certain disappointing sequels....prepare yourself for other franchises to follow suit.....IMHO

@BigDave - Yeah, its really hard to say for definite whats going on in certain scenes and yeah, Im aware of the other version of that footage where the attacker doesnt have long limbs and big head etc etc Seeing that earlier version is how I know(or [b]think[/b].....we never can be 100% sure on these things) that its Fifield. In the other version, it was clearly Fifield who is throwing the crew member. Im guessing that they just hadnt put the CGI over him yet. Thats most likely what it is. Same goes for the scene where he is leaping in the air....in the early version, he wasnt on fire, but in the new version, they added the CGI fire on him. I think this is most likely the case.

Definitely we haven't seen anything yet, why the reason to have everything under such tight wraps and then disappointing everyone with just another squid eel snake arachnid monster. Why bother to wait 20-30 years and then just make another "bughunt".

@WhyDontTheyFreezeHim When i first saw the scene, and looking at the scene of the crew with Flamers burning something on the floor. I thought the crew was trying to kill something (dont forget in one scene, Vickers says "kill all those things" or simular. I thought maybe they was killing some organism, and then the mutant Fifield jumped ontop of them trying to stop them. I thus thought that they was trying to destroy something first, and that Fifield tries to stop them. Whats interesting is Fifield looks like himself only mutated when he jumps off the ATV but then in the scene after where he throws some crew members about in that CGI over top scene he looks nothing like the Mutant that jumped off the ATV but he resembled having a Alien Xeno type head, or the creature in the Mural the Engineer is touching.

Here is my theory... now i cant speculate on the Eggs and how they become. But i have a theory with regards to the Organisms we see in the movie. From somewhere we see the Worm/Eel creatures we see 3 maybe 4 different ones. 1) The small one in Holloways Eye 2) The larger more thicker one that is wrigling about ontop of maybe one of the Urns, or in some kind of Bowl or maybe the Probe? 3) The one that gets into a crew members suit via a Tear. 4) Potentially the Tenticle that seems to be after Shaw. We see two people with helmets. The one we see with steam or like burning happening, this seems to be under the helmet but can be seen escaping from it, the guy apears to be Fifield. The other where you can see something changing their face and viens turn blue, seems to be Holloway. In a latter scene what apears to be a mutated (well swallen and Blueish) Holloway aproaches the Prometheus with his hands raised. Some Organism has affected their DNA and they become mutants/Hyrbids. Now this Alien DNA or Organism seems to change the DNA of who ever it effects.... Changes a Human into something else. Now the affected humans are 100% a fully grown Human Organism before they mutate. Now a Human Embryo before it is fertilised by a Sperm and in the days after it its formed, does not look or bear any resemblence to a Human. Infact have a look at the early stage Embryo of a Human, Dog, Cat, Rat and Bird... Now if the Organism/Bio Former changes a all ready grown Human into some kind of mutant. What would happen if the DNA/Bio Former was to infect and change a lifeform duing its first stages of life i.e Embryo? There would be not much of Human DNA in those early stages and so the Organism can grow/mutate into a more pure form, rather than a Hybrid. This is how we get Shaws Squid Baby, i also think as in the Idea from Alien Franchise that the type of Organism a Face Hugger implants has a effect on the outcome of the Xeno, hence dog Xeno in Alien 3, what would a Face Hugger implanting a Wale look like? So if the Squid is the Proto Xeno, maybe just maybe this Organism is the one that somehow implants something in the Space Jockey that then forms the Orgins of the Xeno Race... how that ties in with the Eggs we dont know. But thats my theory on what the progenitor to the Xeno will be. Shaw will play a major part as she is the mother (the father well that would be the scene thats shocking and embaracing) and David well i think he could be the one who uses the Organism against the Jockey. The above idea is not fact just what i feel could be happening. At the very least i think what i said about the Bioforming Organism changing Humans to Mutants, that when it infects a early Embyro creates a more pure Organism hence Squid is pretty much spot on to the Evolution and creation of the Alien DNA/Proto Xeno.

@whydontheyfreezehim that is just a product of a fast action sequence. i'm almost 100% that is after fifield jumps off the truck and lands on the unsuspecting guy. I'd bet money on it.

The most graceful solution - one which I suppose could have been workable if not for "Aliens" and the hive/queen direction the movies took - would be for there to be no reproduction among the xenos. Of any kind. At all. That is to say - for the xenomorph to have been a 100% engineered being. Grown, or manufactured, if you will. Genetically designed to be a weapon. No mommy alien, no papa alien. No queen alien laying eggs. No adults turning their victims into eggs. Just the spores, engineered en masse as living bombs, so to speak. It would also make a lot more sense from a bioweapons point of view. For example - let's say you want to use the xenomorph to clean up a planet's indigenous population. You seed it with the eggs and let them do their dirty work. But what happens after the enemy are all dead? You've still got a planet full of xenomorphs. If they had no way of reproducing, then you'd simply wait until they all expired, and once they died out, that would be that, and you (the conquering race) could then take over the real estate. Nice and easy. Of course, the cocoon scene from "Alien" invalidates that idea, for the most part; but it seems to me that it would have been the most streamlined approach.
