was the (green crystal) alien mural another door?

Probably is something related to Paradise movie, I suppose...

@Koujilovesdrhell I believe the reason that whatever was chasing the Engineers didn't show up on the recording, is because it only records lifeforms wearing the black bio-suits. So if a naked Engineer (like the one in the opening scene) was in the temple, he wouldn't show up.

I think it has a lot of significance and to me it looks like its a tomb of some kind, and the original in the trailers the Green Orb was instead the Sacrificial Bowl. I had thought that the tomb may had contained some element of the Xeno Organism or its Progenitor and that the Engineers was using that temple to re-engineer the Xeno. And thus behind that Mural could be some kind of plant that is used to break down the Xeno into the substance inside the Urns. But the new Weyland Files clues well now make my theory not plausible and at the same time confuse things even more so.

I think the control panel goo David discovers is some sort of technology, it appears to glisten with electric charge.

If the mural seems to us very signicant...why doesn't David see the importance too? In the movie was there any indication that the humans were the first visitors to this moon? I say that because thinking of the goo that David calls 'impressive'..the holographs...even sitting in the orrey's chair,,it seems like someone..or something is leading the storyline....not all the events could be by accident.. Ridley switched to the container for the release,,because it revealed too much of the hidden(from us).agenda/// I would be curiuous what Shaw/David did before they left the moon. Especially if Shaw was directed to go back in the caves..to check out a few storylines mentioned here.

This picture gives us a lot more insight into the human races part in all this. You can clearly see at the botton two humanoid like charicters at the bottom. It possibly could be a door.and this would clear up the dissapearance of the othe Engineers that run into the ampule room but are nowhere to be seen. The table with the green crystal does make it seem like some kind of place of worship. Just a note though. The humans that I quoted in the mural actually look more like the bald [url=http://whatistheprometheusmovieabout.blogspot.co.uk]Prometheus Engineers[/url]. It does lean towards looking like a lifecycle. It's a shame that this was not more explored in the movie. But it does get you thinking.
